Frequently Asked Questions

How does transliteration work?

Type the Latin romanization of a Khmer word (e.g., "srolanh") and the keyboard will suggest the Khmer script equivalent. Tap a suggestion to insert it.

What if the word I want is not in the suggestions?

Tap the "+ Add" button in the suggestion bar. This opens a Khmer keyboard where you can type the correct Khmer spelling. The word will be saved and appear in future suggestions.

Does the keyboard access my data?

No. The keyboard does not use Full Access and cannot read your passwords, messages, or any other typed content. Only words you explicitly submit via "Add Word" are stored. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The keyboard is not showing up in Settings.

Try restarting your device and checking again under Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard. The keyboard should appear under "Third-Party Keyboards."
