Nudge — Session Timer & Routines · Last updated: April 13, 2026
Nudge is built with privacy in mind. Your data stays on your device and is never collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone.
Nudge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:
All app data — routines, block logs, streaks, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not accessible to us or any third party.
Nudge uses local notifications to alert you when a block timer expires and to send an optional daily morning reminder. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
Nudge requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission to personalize ads shown in the free tier. You can decline this request and still use every feature of the app. If you decline, ads will still be shown but will not be personalized.
The free version of Nudge displays interstitial ads after session completion, provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Upgrading to Nudge Pro ($1.99, one-time) removes all ads and any associated data collection by AdMob.
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Interstitial ads (free tier only) | Device identifiers per Google's policy |
| Apple StoreKit | In-app purchases | Handled entirely by Apple |
No other third-party services are used.
Nudge does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Nudge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
